Assam Free Scooty: The Assam State Government has recently launched the HS Scooty Scheme 2025, a welfare initiative aimed at promoting higher education and independence among girl students. Under this scheme, a total of 35,800 students who have successfully passed the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Examination 2025 will receive free scooters.
This flagship scheme is being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, and it stands as a strong step toward encouraging female empowerment through education and mobility support.
Assam HS Scooty Percentage 2025
The Assam government has launched the HS scooter scheme and the scheme is also called Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme, providing free scooters to female students who achieve a 60% or higher in the higher secondary exam. The Pragyan Bharti scheme is for boys who achieve 75% of their possible points. All beneficiaries will receive free textbooks, school uniforms, and other necessities for attending classes. The government has allocated between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1 lakh for textbooks, with undergraduate and graduate students receiving incentives worth Rs. 1500 and Rs. 2,000.
