Mahindra has launched two new electric vehicles under the ‘XEV’ brand, including the XUV700 SUV. The all-electric XUV700, previously known as XUV.e8, is now being filed for a trademark, suggesting it could be called the XEV 7e. Leaked images of the production-spec version of the XEV 7e have surfaced online, revealing both its exterior and interior.
Mahindra has trademarked the XEV 7e name in India, with leaked images suggesting it will be a non-coupe version of the recently launched XEV 9e. The main difference is the addition of third-row seating, unlike the XEV 9e.
Mahindra XUV700 EV Expected Features
The XEV 7e (Mahindra XUV700 EV ) is an electrified version of the XUV700 ICE mid-size SUV in India, featuring a front fascia and dashboard layout from XEV 9e, a side profile and rear section from XUV700, new wheel designs, and the only Mahindra Electric Origin SUV with a panoramic sunroof.
The XEV 7e (Mahindra XUV700 EV ) shares similarities with the XEV 9e inside, with unique features like captain chairs in the second row, a triple screen layout, an illuminated steering wheel, Harman Kardon audio system, VisionX HUD, powered tailgate, ambient lighting, and Level-2+ ADAS suite.
Leaked pictures reveal XEV 7e’s dual-motor layout and traction modes for off-roading, unlike XEV 9e and BE 6e which do not have dual motors. The combined performance output is expected to be over 350 bhp and 450 Nm.
Mahindra XUV700 EV Interior
If we talk about The XEV 7e (Mahindra XUV700 EV ) cabin is nearly identical to the Mahindra XEV 9e, featuring a dual-tone black and white theme and piano black inserts on the center console. The dashboard features a triple screen setup for driver, infotainment, and passenger displays, with a 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated ‘Infinity’ logo.
The XEV 7e (Mahindra XUV700 EV ) is expected to have amenities like multi-zone AC, a premium sound system, powered and ventilated front seats with memory function, and a panoramic sunroof. Its safety kit includes level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), up to 7 airbags, and a 360-degree camera.
